Community Guidelines

The rules that keep Flash-Networks a safe and fun place for everyone.

Flash-Networks has been running since 2015 and the community is what makes it worth keeping alive. These guidelines apply to our Minecraft server, Discord, forums, and all other platforms. Breaking them puts your access at risk - please read them.

Enforcement notice: Staff and ownership reserve the right to take action at their discretion for behavior that is harmful to the community, even if it is not explicitly listed here. Use common sense.
General Conduct

Treat everyone with respect
Harassment, bullying, hate speech, or targeted hostility toward any member will not be tolerated. Disagreements happen - keep them civil and move on.

Keep content appropriate Strict
NSFW content, sexually explicit material, or graphic imagery is not permitted anywhere on Flash-Networks - in chat, usernames, builds, skins, or forum posts.

No discrimination or hate speech Strict
Slurs, derogatory language, or content targeting someone based on race, gender, sexuality, religion, nationality, or disability will result in an immediate ban.

No spam or excessive messaging
Spam includes repeated messages, excessive caps, character flooding, and unsolicited server or product advertising in any channel or in-game chat.
In-Game Rules

No cheating or unfair advantages Ban
Hacked clients, auto-clickers, macros, X-ray, and any modification that gives an unfair advantage over other players are strictly banned. Allowed mods include Optifine, minimaps (no entity radar), and performance mods.

No griefing or theft Ban
Destroying, modifying, or taking from another player's builds or storage without permission is griefing. This includes unclaimed land if a player has clearly been active there.

No bug or exploit abuse Warn / Ban
If you find a bug or exploit, report it to staff immediately. Abusing it for personal gain - duplication glitches, economy exploits, bypassing restrictions - is a punishable offense.

Respect the world and other players' space
Avoid leaving large floating trees, massive holes, or ugly structures near spawn or other players' areas. Keep the world looking clean. Don't build directly on top of or against someone else's base uninvited.

No lag machines or excessive redstone
Intentionally building machines designed to cause server lag is a bannable offense. Large farms and redstone builds should be optimized - staff may ask you to modify or remove anything causing performance issues.
Discord

Use channels correctly
Post in the appropriate channels. Keep general chat for general conversation, and use dedicated channels for suggestions, media, trading, and support.

No unsolicited advertising Removal
Promoting other Minecraft servers, Discord servers, or external products without staff permission is not allowed. This includes DM advertising other members.
🤖
Don't abuse bots or commands
Spamming bot commands, trying to break CastorAI, or using economy commands to exploit the system will result in account restrictions.
Forums and Website

Post in good faith
Forum threads and replies should be genuine contributions. Low-effort posts, bait threads, or deliberately misleading content may be removed without notice.

One account per person Ban
Creating multiple accounts to bypass bans, inflate stats, or manipulate any system is not permitted. Alternate accounts found in use will be banned alongside the main.

Don't impersonate staff or other players Ban
Using usernames, avatars, or language designed to impersonate Flash-Networks staff or other community members is a bannable offense.
Enforcement

Punishments are tiered but not guaranteed to escalate
Minor infractions typically result in a warning. Repeated or serious violations result in temporary or permanent bans. Severe rule breaks - cheating, hate speech, griefing - may result in an immediate permanent ban with no prior warning.

You can appeal a ban
If you believe a punishment was applied unfairly, you may submit a ban appeal at /ban-appeals. Appeals are reviewed by ownership. Decisions made by the owner are final.

Report rule-breaking through proper channels
To report a player, open a support ticket at /support or contact staff on Discord. Include evidence where possible. Do not take matters into your own hands.
